The Chairman and staff, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, would like to congratulate Dr. D.S.B. Ongarora and Dr. A.O. Okaru on their promotion to the post of Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Dr. D.S.B. Ongarora is a PhD holder in Chemistry from the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa while Dr.Okaru is a PhD scholar in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Nairobi.
The Chairman and staff, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, would like to congratulate Dr. S.N. Ndwigah on his promotion to the post of Senior Lecturer in the Department. Dr. S.N. Ndwigah is a Phd holder in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Nairobi.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University has renewed the appointment of Dr. K.O. Abuga as Chairman of Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry for another three years with effect from July 14, 2014 to July, 13, 2017.
Members of staff in the Department congratulate Dr. Abuga on his appointment and wish him well as he steers the Department to new heights.
The Chairman, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry led staff in the department to a school curriculum reviiew workshop that was held on 19 -20th June, 2014 at the UNES headquarters, Arboretum drive, Nairobi. The workshop sought to engage stakeholders on the goals of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculums, clinical knowledge and practical exposure among other curriculum review objectives.
Prof. G.N. Thoithi, Dr. P.M. Njogu and Dr. A.O. Okaru attended a workshop on e-learning at Multimedia University. The event was organized under the auspices of the Centre of Open and Distance Learning (CODL) of the University of Nairobi. The four day event started on 9th June 2014 to 12th June 2014.
